Hiber Sugar Share Company is a Company established according to the Commercial Code of Ethiopia with initial subscription from 30 Founders. The Founder of the Share Company are potential investors  jointly with experienced professional having an experience ranging from 22 to 37 years in Ethiopia sugar sector. The Company has received registered license from Awi Zone Investment Agency in the Amhara Regional State to develop Sugar Cane Plantation of 25,000 Ha of land and install a huge sugar factory having a capacity of 12,500 TCD, with Co-generation facility and an ethanol plant annexed to it. The project shall be implemented in two phases, for the implementation of the first phase 146 Million USD is required.When the 2^nd phase is completed a total of 292 Million USD is required. The project site is located in the Amhara Regional State, Awi Zone, Jawi Wereda in the Tana Beles Basin. Up on completion of the project the capacity of the sugar factory, the Co-generation plant and Ethanol plant will be 260,000 Tons, 280,000 HL and 211,200 MWH per Annum respectively.The founders of Hiber Sugar Share Company have appointed a Board of Management and have floated 1,000,000 registered shared offered for the public subscription.  The maximum   long term experience in the Sugar Factory and deep study reveals that Ethiopia has great potential and competitive advantages than any other countries in the world. To mention some of them:- Ø  The production of Cane per Ha is maximum (>200 Tons of cane/Ha for the first cutting  )
