ሕብር ስኳር የቢዝነስ ፕላኑን በመቀየር ወደ ሥራ እንደሚገባ አስታወቀ ሕብር ስኳር በ131.9 ሚሊዮን ብር 6183 ሔክታር መሬት በሊዝ ለመረከብ ተስማማ ሕብር ስኳር አክሲዮን ማኅበር ከ6180 ሔክታር በላይ መሬት ተረከበ The project shall be implemented in two phases, for the implementation of the first phase 146 Million USD is required.When the 2nd phase is completed a total of 292 Million USD is required. The project site is located in the Amhara Regional State, Awi Zone, Jawi Wereda in the Tana Beles Basin. Up on completion of the project the capacity of the sugar factory, the Co-generation plant and Ethanol plant will be 260,000 Tons, 280,000 HL and 211,200 MWH per Annum respectively.The founders of Hiber Sugar Share Company have appointed a Board of Management and have floated 1,000,000 registered shared offered for the public subscription.
